SOPAC is pleased to offer specialized VIRTUAL programming for this #COVIDEDITION of Take 5 Musical Theatre Summer Camp.
***We will be accepting [10] students per week ONLY. Where we would typically have a well divided group of Junior and Advanced performers, this season will bring an array of specially chosen SOLOS, DUOS and TRIOS to meet each performer's level of experience. In doing so, students will have an opportunity to delve deeper into harmonies, acting, drama and character study individually and in small groups via our platform, ZOOM.
Performers will have an opportunity to record and have our in-house sound engineer, Andrew Parmalee of Fill The Void Studios, master it like a pro to take home as a souvenir!
How Are Camp Days Set-Up?
Virtual camp programming operates in rotating stations in order to keep participants engaged!
Stations will be based on the various projects performers are working on.
Example:
Station 1: Design Centre
Visual Arts area where performers get to creatively plan their characters, costumes, setting etc.
Station 2: Rehearsal Corner
Performers work one-on-one or in a duo/trio with a SOPAC coach to learn and sing their parts!
Station 3: Listening Station
A great opportunity for performers to listen to recordings and watch performances of the pieces they are preparing.
